Kenneth Grahame's
The Wind in the Willows
adapted for the stage by Mike Kenny, directed by Dan Dainter

Carriageworks Theatre, Millennium Square, Leeds LS2 3AD
Wednesday 6th - Saturday 9th November 2024
Mike Kenny’s cheerful adaptation of Kenneth Grahame’s classic children’s story sets our stage in the ruins of Toad Hall on the day it is to be sold.  Mole, Ratty, Badger and Toad reminisce about tales of years gone by and bring the events of this much loved story to life.
Tired of spring-cleaning, Mole leaves Mole End and ventures out to the riverbank, where he befriends the resourceful Ratty, the gruff Badger and the infamous Toad of Toad Hall.  Together they explore the Wide World, and the Wild Wood, but can they keep Toad out of trouble?

This amateur production of The Wind in the Willows (Grahame/Kenny) is presented by arrangement with Nick Hern Books.

the players to be either children or adults or both, as is necessary for the production"
.
This was drawn into the constitution in April 1937
and it remains the aim of Leeds Children's Theatre today
