"Stories are wild creatures the monster said.
When you let them loose, who knows what havoc they might wreak?"
Thirteen-year-old Connor O’Malley wakes up at seven minutes past midnight every night with the same nightmare. He is battling with his mother’s illness, his estranged Father, overbearing Grandmother, school bullies and his own feelings of agonising guilt.  Then, a monster calls; an ancient force of nature.  The Monster insists on telling three stories and then Connor must tell his own story, facing his deepest fear … the truth.
From the critically acclaimed bestseller,
A Monster Calls offers a dazzling insight into love, life and healing.
