Our Productions & Public Performances:

Leeds Children's Theatre stage two productions each year at the Carriageworks Theatre (a purpose built theatre in the centre of Leeds, West Yorkshire).
  • These are usually performed in spring (March/April) and late autumn (November).
  • The society produces plays and 'plays with music' that are suitable for children and their families.
  • Many of our productions are popular with teachers and we welcome school groups as well as families and friends.
  • Our productions will usually involve a mixed cast of adults and children, depending upon the requirements of the play.
Our next stage production is The BFG, 9-12 November 2022 at Carriageworks Theatre, LS2 3AD

"The aim of Leeds Children's Theatre is to produce plays suitable for children,
the players to be either children or adults or both, as is necessary for the production"
.
This was drawn into the constitution in April 1937
and it remains the aim of Leeds Children's Theatre today
