Philippa Pearce's timeless classic children's story,
adapted for the stage by David Wood, directed by Ian Goodison

This production was directed by long standing member Ian Goodison, who most recently directed The Lion the Witch and the Wardrobe (2011), The Magician's Nephew (2010) and The Secret Garden (2007) for the society.

"The aim of Leeds Children's Theatre is to produce plays suitable for children,
​the players to be either children or adults or both, as is necessary for the production"
. 
This was drawn into the constitution in April 1937 and it remains the aim of Leeds Children's Theatre today ​
