Final curtain falls on the Leeds Civic Theatre
Peter Pan, 7 May 2005

Photos taken behind the scenes at the Civic Theatre during the final show, Peter Pan, staged by Leeds Children's Theatre.
There was an active campaign to "SAVE THE CIVIC" which many members were actively involved with. Pictures below are from the event where we handed over the petition to Cllr Bernard Atha CBE (Lord Mayor of Leeds 2000-2001).

"The aim of Leeds Children's Theatre is to produce plays suitable for children,
the players to be either children or adults or both,
as is necessary for the production"
.
This was drawn into the constitution in April 1937
and it remains the aim of Leeds Children's Theatre today
