Join Mowgli, the boy raised by wolves, as he adventures through the jungle encountering a colourful cast of characters including the wise panther Bagheera, the fun-loving bear Baloo, and the fearsome tiger Shere Khan.
Interspersed with the Mowgli tale is the intriguing story of a young Rudyard Kipling, who is sent from his home in Bombay to a British boarding school, where he encounters his own "jungle". The story unfolds using his own experience of feeling lost in unfamiliar surroundings, and the people he meets - good and bad - inspire many of his famous animal characters.
With its rich storytelling, excitement, humour and a vibrant ensemble of jungle inhabitants, ‘The Jungle Book’ is a timeless story, that explores themes of courage, friendship, and the importance of finding one’s place in the world.
