LCT were proud to be able to make a donation of £400 to Leeds Dogs Trust during the dress rehearsal of The Magic Scarf. The donation was in memory of Edna Barwell, in lieu of royalties, and we must also thank Edna's family for again allowing us to stage this delightful children's play.

Kirkstall Festival was a great success for us again folks, with lots of people asking about the society. Thank you to everyone who came to help, especially Mandi for her fab face painting event. All your donated prizes for the tombola have gone (the few items that were left we donated to a local charity, DEBRA who had a stall near to ours). We made £159 for Leeds Children's Theatre funds, which is great, and hopefully we've helped to promote The Magic Scarf and maybe increased tickets sales as well. Thanks everyone.
Tickets can be booked online (fees apply), by phone or in person at the Box Office.
Leeds Children's Theatre productions, 1935-2015, list in Wordle fashion. Can you recognise all of the show titles? Any missing ones - I don't have all the greenroom productions/dates, so if you know any please send details to me asap. Thanks, Karen.
The Play-reading for The Magic Scarf will be on Mon 1 June, Auditions on Weds 3 & Thurs 4 June. All start at 6.30pm, usual venue.
Our November 2015 production will be The Magic Scarf.
When Lee and Sandy build Tingles the snowman on Christmas Eve they have no idea what the night will bring. The North Wind has “borrowed” Tingles’ scarf and is in no hurry to return it. Without his scarf, Tingles won’t be able to return the land of Ice and Snow. What will poor Tingles do?
Join Lee, Sandy and Tingles as they embark on an adventure to rescue Tingles’ scarf with the help of a very unusual Christmas Fairy called Goldie. Can they outwit the cunning scarecrow, defeat the wicked witch and win back the scarf? Or, will the children miss Christmas altogether? All is revealed in this excellent play, written by the late Edna Barwell.
The show will be directed by Judith Daniel and Sue Elliott. More details will be announced later, but if you are interest in buying tickets for your school, club or group please contact us and register your interest. Thank you
